Khubaib Shabbir
I build AI orchestrators, teams, and loops that replace roles, departments, and even companies.
An architect of real-time, distributed, event-driven & multi-tenant systems, a cloud solutions architect, a routing & switching expert, and a knowledge architect who takes products end-to-end — planning, architecting, writing the hardest code, testing, supporting, and leading the teams that ship them. I build across web, mobile, desktop, cross-platform, embedded, and edge. My work spans autonomous agent teams, real-time messaging & streaming, VoIP, IoT, drones, hardware, robotics, cyber-physical systems, core networking, systems administration, blockchain, industrial, and enterprise systems — across social, technology, telecom, cement, healthcare, entertainment, aquaculture, AgTech, hyperlocal services, venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, logistics, climate-tech, compliance, real-estate, and beyond. I'm the one counted on to put out fires — I take the problems no one else will, with analytical depth and a level-headed, helpful presence. A lifelong trainer and researcher who's led people from associates to experts in world-class teams. A consistent early mover who built things before or at par with the world. A jack of all trades and a master of some.

Signature moments
Character over CV lines — where judgment, nerve, or ingenuity mattered. Most recent first.
Built it, led it, sold it · 2026
Co-founded ZerHaul — human-in-the-loop AI for U.S. car-hauling logistics — and ran it as CTO and interim CEO of the parent, through to a successful acquisition.
Handed the hardest systems · 2019
At Trilogy I was named “The Extreme L2” — given the most complex acquired systems and toughest legacy knowledge to import, and made Imports lead. 97% quality, 100% target.
Shipped it into an incubator · 2016
Built PatientConcern — real-time doctor scheduling & patient records over XMPP — for a medical-services start-up; the product reached Pakistan's Plan9 tech incubator.
Beat the giants on merit · 2013
Won a major project for MDateInternational against larger, established firms (Qurop et al.) purely on the quality of my design — and was offered a 10% stake to deliver it end-to-end.
Turned it around, then sold it · 2012
I took a partnership in a declining training institute and moved Lahore→Peshawar to revive it — restructured its fronts, won hospital-network projects, and sold it within six months.
Saved overnight — doubted first · 2011
At ePay UK I caught a partner (Nomi Mobile) filing for bankruptcy and blocked their transactions. Ridiculed that night; by morning top management were thanking me.
Promoted while still in training · 2010
Hired as an agent for a new campaign and, while still in training, promoted to supervise the new campaign and shift.
The one they sent the hard ones to · 2010
At ePay UK the CEO nicknamed me “The Champ,” personally forwarding me every challenge no one else would touch — the ones the floor had given up on.
The answer nobody else found · 2009
During PTCL's 7→8-digit switch the record system broke. One URL parameter still pulled records while 1500+ colleagues on the helplines turned customers away.
Pioneering & firsts
Things I built earlier than or at par with the world.
An AI factory on loop engineering — self-improving plan→build→test→review→improve.
Human-in-the-loop autonomous logistics (voice + browser agents).
Role-replacing AI in production — Atlas support triage and a Data Agent for a COO.
GenAI + RAG for VC due diligence — early enterprise GenAI.
Citizen-mobilising civic tech during Covid (Quarannect → Civilment).
Aquaculture IoT + drones + computerized hatcheries in Pakistan.
Apache Pulsar as an IoT backbone — Pulsar was brand-new (Apache TLP 2018).
SIP + XMPP on carrier-grade VoIP/UC (Broadsoft) — enterprise real-time UC ahead of the curve.
Mobile SoCs with CPU + GPU + AI-unit + FPGA — before mainstream mobile NPUs (2017).
Off-grid, serverless, numberless P2P — U.S. provisional patent, alongside the earliest mesh-messaging wave.
Android running in cars — before Android Auto (2014).
In-browser real-time voice/video on XMPP + WebRTC, before it went mainstream.
The through-line
Across support floors, telecom networks, messaging platforms, cement plants, aquaculture sensors, enterprise AI and logistics agents, the constant problem has been coordination under uncertainty: capture state, preserve context, route work, verify risk, and hand off cleanly when humans need to stay in the loop.
2008–12 · Support & networks
Live ops taught the first lessons — tickets, calls, outages and telecom fail when context vanishes.
2012–17 · Presence & call control
XMPP, WebRTC, SIP, AMQP, Broadsoft — presence, routing, call control and handoff.
2015–17 · Resilient underlays
The P2P patent and Servii pushed coordination lower — comms without fragile central dependency.
2017–19 · Industrial operations & knowledge
CMMS/HSE/PLC and acquired-SaaS imports turned chaos into mapped workflows and runbooks.
2019–22 · Physical-world event streams
Apache Pulsar + MQTT turned aquaculture sensor and drone telemetry into actionable decisions.
2023–24 · Enterprise decision agents
VC due diligence, Atlas and the Data Agent brought the pattern to AI — reason, draft, gate, escalate.
2024–26 · Controlled action agents
Voice and browser agents for car-hauling logistics — act in real systems, pause at approval gates.
2026 → now · Software coordination loops
Now the same architecture applies to software itself — agentic loops that plan, build, test, review, learn and ship under human supervision.

Independent — AI Systems Architect
Primary focus: an AI factory built on loop engineering — self-improving agentic loops that plan → build → test → review → improve and ship products under human supervision, which I plan to open-source. Currently also a fractional / interim CTO for SolHod, DesfechoVibrante, NexLabAI & SkratchDigital, alongside a set of completed independent AI products (right).

Corvit Systems, Peshawar Sold
Taught CCNA/CCNP. Took a partnership and relocated Lahore→Peshawar to revitalise a declining institute — restructured its business fronts and won hospital-network projects, enabling a sale within six months.
MindBridgeBPO
Promoted to supervisor on my first day for topping every training test. The CEO called me "The Champ," forwarding me every challenge no one else would touch. Led 20+ on global network monitoring, and caught a bankrupt partner's transactions in time (see Signature moments).
