Role-replacing AIs InnovatorReal-time, Distributed & Multi-Tenant Systems ArchitectRouting & Switching ExpertCloud Solutions ArchitectKnowledge ArchitectTrainerResearcher

A repeat founder and CTO who takes products end-to-end — planning, architecting, writing the hardest code, testing, supporting, and leading the teams that ship them. I build across web, mobile, desktop, cross-platform, embedded, and edge. My work spans generative AI & autonomous agent teams, real-time messaging & streaming, VoIP, IoT, drones, hardware, robotics, cyber-physical systems, core networking, blockchain, industrial, and enterprise systems across social, technology, telecom, cement, healthcare, entertainment, aquaculture, AgTech, hyperlocal services, venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, logistics, climate-tech, compliance, real-estate, and beyond. I'm the one counted on to put out fires — I take the problems no one else will, with analytical depth and a level-headed, helpful presence. I've trained and led people from associates to experts in world-class teams. A consistent early mover who built things before or at par with the world. A jack of all trades and a master of some.

Aquaculture · IoT + ML + drones

A unified aquaculture platform — knowledge-sharing, e-commerce & resource planning — with IoT water-quality sensors, drones, and ML models on an Apache Pulsar backbone; computerized hatcheries that raised survival rates of non-local Pangasius larvae. Co-founded as CTO; led remote support, technical-writing & customization teams.

Signature moments

Character over CV lines — where judgment, nerve, or ingenuity mattered. Most recent first.

Exit

Built it, led it, sold it · 2026

Co-founded ZerHaul — human-in-the-loop AI for U.S. car-hauling logistics — and ran it as CTO and interim CEO of the parent, through to a successful acquisition.

“Extreme L2”

Handed the hardest systems · 2019

At Trilogy I was named “The Extreme L2” — consistently given the most technically complex acquired systems and the toughest legacy knowledge to import, and made lead of the Imports team. 97% quality, 100% target.

Plan9

Shipped it into an incubator · 2016

Built PatientConcern — real-time doctor scheduling & patient records over XMPP — for a medical-services start-up; the product reached Pakistan's Plan9 tech incubator.

$110K

Beat the giants on merit · 2013

Won a major project for MDateInternational against larger, established firms (Qurop et al.) purely on the quality of my design — and was offered a 10% stake to deliver it end-to-end.

Sold

Turned it around, then sold it · 2012

I took a partnership in a declining training institute and moved from Lahore to Peshawar to revive it — restructured its business fronts and won hospital-network projects, enabling a sale of the revitalised business within six months.

£1M

Saved overnight — doubted first · 2011

At ePay UK I caught that a partner (Nomi Mobile) had filed for bankruptcy and pushed to block their transactions. I was ridiculed internally and by ePay's own team that night; by the next day, internal and external top management were thanking me — and my shift was exempted from monitoring for the save.

“The Champ”

The one they sent the hard ones to · 2010

At ePay UK the CEO nicknamed me “The Champ,” personally forwarding me every challenge no one else would touch — the ones the floor had given up on.

The fix

The answer nobody else found · 2009

During PTCL's 7→8-digit number switch, the record system broke. By changing a single URL parameter I could still pull records — while 1500+ colleagues on the national helplines (1236/1217/1218) were turning customers away. Every rep used my workaround until the dev team patched it.

Pioneering & firsts

Things I built earlier than or at par with the world.

2026

An AI software house on loop engineering — self-improving plan→build→test→review→improve.

2024–26

Human-in-the-loop autonomous logistics (voice + browser agents).

2024

Role-replacing AI in production — Atlas (200→10) and a Data Agent for a COO.

2023

GenAI + RAG for VC due diligence — early enterprise GenAI.

2020

Citizen-mobilising civic tech during Covid (Quarannect → Civilment).

2019–22

Aquaculture IoT + drones + computerized hatcheries in Pakistan.

2019

Apache Pulsar as an IoT backbone — Pulsar was brand-new (Apache TLP 2018).

2015

SIP + XMPP on carrier-grade VoIP/UC (Broadsoft) — enterprise real-time UC ahead of the curve.

~2015–16

Mobile SoCs with CPU + GPU + AI-unit + FPGA — before mainstream mobile NPUs (2017).

2015

Off-grid, serverless, numberless P2P — U.S. provisional patent, alongside the earliest mesh-messaging wave.

~2013

Android running in cars — before Android Auto (2014).

2013

In-browser real-time voice/video on XMPP + WebRTC, before it went mainstream.

The through-line

One skill runs through every era of my career — moving information reliably, in real time. Long before agents were the headline it was messages, then events, now tool-calls; the queueing discipline is identical.

2012–14 · Virtual Live

Live text / voice / video chat on XMPP, WebRTC & AMQP — clustered Openfire + RhinoJS, Strophe.js over BOSH/Comet.

2015–17 · Cinnova → TECLD

SIP + XMPP on carrier-grade Broadsoft VoIP/UC; then Servii, a real-time work engine on digital streaming platforms.

2018–19 · Trilogy / ESW

Reverse-documented Kafka-based queuing & streaming internals (Jive) for acquired SaaS.

2019–22 · BynUp

Apache Pulsar event-streaming backbone with MQTT at the sensor edge — aquaculture telemetry & ML.

2024 · Crossover

LangGraph state machines for support triage — the same routing / queueing, now over agents.

2024–26 · ZerHaul

HITL orchestration — classify → act → escalate — applied to autonomous logistics.

2026 → now · AI Software House

The streaming / queueing mindset applied to the ultimate asynchronous system — the software-development lifecycle itself: loop engineering, agentic loops that plan → build → test → review → improve.
